NDE FOR SAFETY 2010 / DEFEKTOSKOPIE 2010

November 10 – 12, 2010, hotel Angelo, Plzeň (Pilsen) – Czech Republic

The conference aim is to support expanding role of NDE/NDT methods in manufacturing, transport, aircraft industry, power plants, mechanical, material, and electro engineering, microelectronics, and eventually also in other safety branches – war against terrorism etc., as well as in research and development. Recent situation in the area of education, certifi cation, accreditation and standardization will be also discussed. Specialists in all NDE/NDT topical areas are welcome to showcase their applications and findings. Attendees from various industrial and research sectors are invited to exchange information, experience, and knowledge, explore new ideas and benefi t from expertise of other practitioners, engineers, scientists, and students.

Call for papers and exposures

All authors are invited to contribute papers on the areas of conference topics (in both oral and poster sessions). Contributors are requested to submit their paper title with short abstract (app. 200 words) and contacts till the August 31, 2010.

Official Language

The official language of the conference will be English and Czech/Slovak.

Conference NDE for Safety Time Schedule:

• Deadline for abstracts submission: August 31, 2010
• Limite date for payment of reduced fees: September 20, 2010
• Deadline for papers delivery: October 6, 2010
• Conference opening: November 10, 2010 at 10 a.m.

Venue

Pilsen – Metropolis of West Bohemia. Since its foundation in 1295, the City of Pilsen has naturally become a cultural and economic centre of the West Bohemia. Nowadays, Pilsen with its 165 000 inhabitants covers an area of 138 square kilometres and it is easily accessible by the D5 motorway.

The Angelo Hotel Pilsen is located directly across the world-famous Pilsner brewery. With its unique and extravagant design, the hotel is a true eye-catcher. All the city’s main attractions, such as the brewery museum, the historical city centre, as well as the synagogue, are within walking distance.
